AGRITECHNICA, McCormick focuses on the medium range (Hall 4 Stand A10)

The achievement of a cutting-edge technology has always been the goal of the McCormick brand, being considered a symbol of ultimate quality on the market place. A recognition which McCormick is very proud of and that it keeps alive by steadily enriching its product ranges. This time the investments of the manufacturing concern have been focused on the average power bracket, the McCormick core business. A strong evolutionary impact affecting the MTX, MC4 and T-MAX series, whose renovation and restyling results will be presented on the occasion of the Hannover Exhibition. In addition to the above, a new era has started also for McCormick specialized tractors. The Orchard series has been completely re-vamped to meet ever increasing professional requirements thus providing utmost versatility.. The Tele-Trac telescopic handler has also been re-vamped by the installation of new Tier 3-compliant engines enabling this latter to conquer new important market niches.

 MTX: NEW ENGINE

A new engine is powering the McCormick MTX top range, one of the most appreciated series worldwide for the ultimate level of comfort, performance and technological content it offers.
The new MTX150 will be the hallmark of the new range. It will be powered by the new Tier 3-compliant BetaPower engine delivering 141 HP and will replace the MTX145 model. At the same time also the MTX135 model will be powered by the 133 HP engine previously fitted on the upper model.
The MTX series comes in three models MTX 120 (117 HP), MTX 135 (133 HP) and MTX 150 (141 HP).

MC 4: NEW LOOK AND FUNCTIONAL RESTYLING

The McCormick MC series has been renovated and restyled to show an important and functional new look. The hallmark of the new MC 4-cylinder version is the new stylish and ergonomically designed four post cab providing utmost comfort and ultimate all-round visibility.
The new roof, besides being featured by a newer and more modern design, is equipped with a roof hatch, essential with front loader operations, and providing extra visibility at the top even when front loaders are used at their maximum extension.
The heating/ventilation and air conditioning system, integrated into the roof, have been conceived to provide the operator with the maximum driving comfort in all weathers. The dashboard features newly conceived and easy to read digital indicators
The renovation work has also affected fenders that are now featuring a newer design. With this new look the MC series is ever more in the forefront

T-MAX

The new McCormick T-Max series incorporates the C-Max series models equipped with reverse power shuttle into a new project.

The T-Max series comes in four models: T-Max 80 – 90 – 100 and 110 with power ratings ranging from 74 to 102 HP. The two T-Max 100 and 110 models are equipped with turbo, aftercooler engines to further enhance relevant efficiency and performance.
The T-Max series comes in 2-and 4 WD versions, with Synchro Shuttle and Power Shuttle, thus offering a large variety of transmissions. The basic gearbox 12+12 provides a maximum speed of 36 km/h and is equipped with reverse power shuttle. In addition, as an option, the Power Shuttle version can be equipped with hydraulic power shuttle and 3-stages Powershift H-M-L module (High-Medium-Low) which triples the gears of the basic transmission to achieve 36FWD+12RV and a maximum speed of 40 km/h. A creeper is available as an option on all versions. A Declutch system allows the operator to change mechanical gears by simply depressing the button incorporated in the gearshift lever. The Declutch system is engaged by an electronic control unit, the same one controlling the hydraulic reverse shuttle, the H-M-L gearbox and the PTO.
The oil-bath multi-plate PTO comes with a choice of two or three speeds i.e. 540, 540 Eco and 1000 rpm according to the requested versions.
The mechanical power lift is equipped with draft control function on the lower links.

 ORCHARD SERIES

The F, GE and XL models of the McCormick orchard series have been completely renovated to feature a more modern design while providing unequalled performance and maximum comfort. The cab roof and hood have been completely redesigned to further enhance the comfort level inside the cab. A new and more ergonomic control layout, new and more comfortable seats and a better cab pressurization, ensuring improved sound-deadening and less dust inlets, provide considerable benefits to the driver in terms of comfort and health. The high performance and functionality of this new range have achieved a new goal in the specialistic segment. An increasingly more professional and advanced hydraulics, ensuring a more precise adjustment of the power lift, a front and rear PTO as well as the availability of new hydraulic options underscore the evolution of the McCormick F range. In addition, a reduced steering radius further enhances manoeuvrability of these tractors between crop rows and in confined spaces.
The new orchard range has also been powered by new turbo aftercooler engines featuring cutting-edge technical solutions and higher performance.

NEW TIER 3-COMPLIANT ENGINE FOR “TELE-TRAC” TELESCOPIC HANDLER

The McCormick Tele-Trac telescopic hander has been powered with new engines complying with Tier 3 standards governing the emissions into the environment. These new 4-cylinder turbo aftercooler SISU diesel engines of latest generation can deliver up to 150 HP/ISO power ratings while providing a high torque back up, improved fuel consumption and reduced noise levels.
Ranked in the highest power bracket of the telescopic handler sector, as providing 110 HP available at the PTO, the Tele-Trac combines the functions of a telescopic handler, agricultural tractor and forestry machine.
All other Tele-Trac features, such as both patented D.D.S. (Dual Drive System) reversible driving position and 40 km/h EVT hybrid transmission, remain unchanged..

NEW AFTERCOOLER ENGINES

Argo Tractors looks ahead even when it comes to engine innovation. In fact, the Fabbrico manufacturing concern has cut into production new turbo after-cooler Perkins engines to be fitted on the relevant product ranges. As already done for the CX Series, these engines are now being used also on the new Orchard models and during next year they will also be fitted on other tractor ranges. Featured by a perfect fuel-to-air mix ratio, the new engines ensure better combustion, enhanced efficiency thus providing outstanding performance and torque back up at lower running costs
